Printing Designer Candle Labels through the Make It! Personal web application is fast and easy! For Designer Candles, the entire background image and personalization is printed by the Funeral Home on an 8.5” x 14” blank candle label. Messenger sells blank labels in packs of 12.
Creating a Designer Candle Label in MIP
1.) To get started, check the box for Candle Label, then click Make It!
2.) On the Design Screen, you’ll first want to select your Case.
3.) From the Series drop-down menu, select Designer Candles.
Note: All other series listed in the "Series" drop-down menu are only for use with the corresponding Messenger pre-printed candle stationery.
4.) Choose a Product Size:
Standard = 3.5 x 6.25 (round)
Premium = 3.5 x 7.5 (round)
Square = 4 x 4 x 6 (square)
5.) Then choose your desired background design under Templates.
Since the background templates have been professionally pre-designed for you, all you will need to do is review the label to ensure that the photograph and personalization text from your case look great!
If you need to crop an image so that it displays correctly in the placeholder, this can be done in the same manner as you do for stationery:
1.) Click on the picture.
2.) Click on the pen icon to make adjustments to the image.
3.) If you don’t see the icon, this is probably because there is a design element in front of your picture. You will need to temporarily move the design element to the back by clicking on the Send to Back icon. This will appear by clicking the Design Element.
If you want to feature a different image than the one that auto populates into a placeholder:
1.) Click on the picture so that it is selected.
2.) Then, from the Case Info drawer on the left, select the Case Images Tab.
3.) Scroll to the image that you would like to use to replace the current image.
4.) Click on this image and while holding the left mouse button down, drag the selected image over the current image. This will replace the image in the placeholder with the new image.
5.) Continue reviewing the personalization until everything looks exactly like you want it to.
6.) Once you have completed your changes and are absolutely sure of your layout, etc., click on the Save button.
