Lynda Stoops-Wolfe, Customer Service Manager

Lynda Stoops-Wolfe joined Messenger on July 8, 2015, bringing her background in Broadcast Communications and Ag Sales and Communications to a team dedicated to constant innovation and exceptional service. She is the Manager of Messenger's customer service team, known for its passion in assisting funeral home clients and their families. Living in Auburn, Indiana, Lynda enjoys the outdoors, particularly riding and showing horses, and she shares her home with her husband, son, and a variety of animals including dogs, cats, goats, horses, and cows.

Diana Leins

Diana joined Messenger on November 20, 2020, bringing her expertise in HR and Business Management to the team. She enjoys the camaraderie at work, especially appreciating how well she communicates with her colleagues. Living in Auburn, Indiana, Diana loves gardening, cooking, going for picnics, and traveling in her free time. She is a devoted mother to her son Ethan, who is the center of her world.

Gretchen Bradley

Since joining Messenger, Gretchen has enjoyed working with and helping people. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, hiking, kayaking, and watching art house films. She also enjoys the music of the Rolling Stones, Sarah McLachlan, and Elton John. Gretchen’s current favorite place to visit is the Leelanau Peninsula in northern Michigan, but someday she would like to travel through India and Tibet. Gretchen and Paul live with their two dogs Zeus and Bond.

Susan joined Messenger with a rich educational background, holding an Associate's Degree in Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. She lives in Auburn with her husband, celebrating over a decade of marriage, and their three children. In her free time, Susan enjoys cooking and baking delicious meals and treats with her family.

Tori Whitman

Tori joined Messenger on April 3, 2023, and quickly grew to love the close-knit work environment. She finds joy in coming to work every day, where she and her team dedicate themselves to serving families with care and professionalism. Residing in Auburn, Indiana, Tori enjoys a variety of creative and relaxing hobbies, including painting, pottery, crafting, gardening, and taking cat naps. She shares her home with her husband, Hank Whitman, and their two cats, Wren and Rubie.

Chris Franks

Chris has been a valued member of the Messenger team since July 6, 1999. She enjoys the interaction with customers and sales representatives, finding satisfaction in the dynamic and engaging aspects of his work. Residing in Auburn, Indiana, Chris is an outdoor enthusiast who loves riding bikes and spending quality time with family and friends. She has been happily married to Matt for nearly 35 years, and together they cherish their two daughters and two grandsons.

Courtney Sutton

Courtney Sutton joined the Messenger team in September 2022, after earning her business degree. She enjoys the diversity of products and services Messenger offers and feels right at home with her colleagues, who she describes as family-like. Courtney lives in Auburn, Indiana, where she loves spending time with her boyfriend of seven years and their cherished cat. She is also a proud aunt and great aunt, with two nephews in the Army and four great-nieces and nephews, adding to her joyous family life.

Deanna Pomeroy

Deanna lives in Auburn with her husband and their two boys. She enjoys scrapbooking, country music, family time, watching her kids in sporting events, and she loves to go on cruises. For inspiration she looks to her mom’s kind heart and willingness to help others, and her dad’s devotion to family and hard work ethic. Deanna has always had an interest in psychology, and has an Associate’s Degree in psychology. As part of Messenger’s customer service team, she enjoys building relationships with customers and going the extra mile to make their experience great.

Mandy Dale

Mandy recently returned to Messenger’s customer service team after a few years away. Talking to people and helping them get what they need are her favorite parts of her job here. Outside of work, Mandy enjoys horseback riding, camping, sports, and working on the family farm. She enjoys reading, especially books by Nichols Evans. She and her husband Todd have two children, a daughter and a son, and they enjoy taking vacations to Brown County State Park.

Theresa Messer

Theresa moved back to Indiana after serving 11 years as the account manager for a privately owned internet company. She feels blessed to have her two sons, Ryan and Tyler and 4 amazing grandchildren. Driven by honestly, integrity and the ideal of treating others the way she'd like to be treated, Theresa appreciates being a part of Messenger's team.

Jessica Love

Jessica Love joined Messenger in September 2022, embracing the chance to continually learn and grow within the company. Residing in Auburn, Indiana, Jessica spends her free time engaging in creative pursuits like baking, crocheting, and painting. She is married and a proud mother of two daughters.

Lindsay Fugate

Lindsay Fugate joined the Messenger team in May 2016 after graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice from Trine University. She loves the daily interaction with customers and the chance to solve their problems. Lindsay lives in Auburn, Indiana, where she enjoys playing Magic: The Gathering, exploring with Pokémon Go, reading, and spending time with her dogs, Chester and Cheech. She and her husband Tony, who also works at Messenger, share a son named Jude.

Sherri Lechleidner

Sherri grew up right here in Auburn, Indiana. She is married and has two children and one grandson. Her favorite vacation destination is Jamaica.

April Watson

April joined the Bass-Mollett team in October 2015 and transitioned to Messenger in February 2022. She thrives on the relationships she's built with agents, customers, and coworkers, viewing both the Greenville and Auburn teams as her extended family. She finds deep fulfillment in helping customers provide service to families during their times of need, ensuring each interaction is handled with professionalism. In 1998, April married her Husband, her high school sweetheart, Tracy. Together, they have two daughters, Alyssa and Trystan. Alyssa recently married her high school sweetheart, Daniel, and Trystan is set to graduate from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. April's hobbies include concert-going, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

Brandy Johnson

Brandy has been part of the Messenger family since February 2022, transitioning from Bass-Mollett, where she started on February 11, 2002. She treasures the camaraderie and teamwork that define her workplace environment in Greenville, Illinois. Brandy is passionate about the outdoors, enjoying hiking and yard work, as well as indulging in her love for the thrill of scary movies and haunted houses. She shares her life with her partner, and together they take pride in their three grown sons and cherish moments with their grandson.

Jadyn became part of the team at Messenger on October 30, 2023, and she quickly appreciated the warm and supportive atmosphere. She particularly enjoys the team's tradition of popcorn day. Living in Greenville, Illinois, Jadyn's free time is filled with activities like making finger blankets, spending quality time with her daughter, playing with her three dogs and their six puppies, riding side by side, and hunting. Kelli joined the Messenger team in September 2022, after starting at Bass-Mollett in August 2021. She values the family-friendly atmosphere at work, and appreciates the constant encouragement and support from both the leadership team and colleagues across all departments, with the added fun of popcorn Fridays. Kelli enjoys the strong teamwork within her group, even though they operate from two different offices in Greenville, Illinois and Auburn, Indiana. Outside of work, she loves spending time with family and friends, baking, refinishing furniture, gardening, and exploring the woods. Kelli is married to her best friend, Marc, and together they care for their English Bulldog, Leo, and two cats. She is also the proud mother of two veterans, one from the Air Force and one from the Army.

Misti joined Messenger on January 29, 2024, and quickly valued the supportive and welcoming environment. She finds satisfaction in her role, especially appreciating the opportunity to help people feel connected to their loved ones. She is a proud mother to two children, Emaleah and Dylan, and a devoted dog mom to Bella, with whom she also shares the joy of being a dog grandma to Mr. Loki.

Samantha joined the Messenger team in May 2020 and immediately appreciated our commitment to excellence, especially during the challenging times families face. Samantha enjoys watching movies, crafting, traveling, and creating lasting memories in her spare time. She shares her life with her husband, Jeffery, and their beloved Mini-Medium Goldendoodle, Norman.

Lesia Morton, Calendar Coordinator

Lesia has been married for over 30 years, and she and her husband have two daughters and three grandchildren. She loves spending time with her grandkids, talking to her children, and making memories with family wherever they are together. Outside of work Lesia also enjoys gardening, being outdoors, and learning new things. Her favorite subjects in school were math and music. When she was younger, she wanted to be either a nurse or a flight attendant, and still says she would enjoy learning to fly a plane. Lesia believes it’s important to live in the moment and not take anything for granted, because life is so short!

Mary lives in Kendallville, Indiana, where she enjoys crafting in her spare time, creating many different handmade items and gifts. She loves the wintertime and snow. Her ideal day would be spent crafting while snow falls outside. Given the choice between attending the Super Bowl or a Broadway show, she would choose Broadway. Mary has a son and daughter-in-law.

Kayleen Leonard, Receptionist

Kayleen is the first face you see when you come into Messenger’s lobby, and the first voice to greet you on the phone. She enjoys interacting with everyone who visits or calls. Outside of work, Kayleen enjoys gardening, listening to music, and spending time with others. When she travels, she doesn’t have a favorite place; she just enjoys being with loved ones and experiencing God’s amazing creation. When she was younger, Kayleen wanted to be a flight attendant, but now says her current career was just “meant to be.” She looks forward to bringing joy to others and experiencing each new day. She has been with Messenger for over 30 years, and still enjoys coming to work every day.
